It’s surprising what a pair of earrings can do to your look. From hoops, to dangles, to chandeliers, to studs or to droplets, you have a never ending choice. Here are a few points to make a fashion statement by choosing the right earrings for you.
Choose a pair of earrings that looks good for your face. A round face should bring dimension to the face by selecting sharp angled earrings, like triangles and squares. A heart-shaped face, should select earrings that are shorter, like studs. For a square face, choose round shapes. Chandeliers of medium size or large hoops are best to soften the angles of your face. Oval faces are the most versatile; all earrings will match your face.
Color-coordinating also plays a vital role. A gold necklace matches with gold earrings. Never mix silver and gold. The right pair of earrings can make or break an outfit. For light colored clothes, light colored diamonds, pearls or stone while gold, and for dark colored clothes, stoned or coral earrings would look great.
Keep the length of your earrings in proportion to your height. Short ladies; choose drops that reach half the length of the distance between your ear lobe and your shoulder. For medium height, just like oval faces, you can choose one that suits your hair style and clothes. Tall ladies, go for drops and chandeliers due to larger distance from ear lobe to shoulder.
When in doubt, studs are the right and appropriate choice irrespective of your outfits, height and shape of your face. What you want is still the most important. Have fun! Don’t hesitate to try new styles. When you’ve got your eyes on a pair of earrings and it makes you feel good, by all means, wear them!
